One for my friend Laura, a not-too-bad 1960s TV version of a John Wyndham story about feminism, consumerism, and pest control. Quite surprising, as the Hitchcock series (there were several) tended to focus on crime/thriller stories. This does have a murder in it, but it's straight sf.
